This , not only do we want to celebrate all of our incredible Lynx women, we also want to take the opportunity to highlight the importance of women’s health and share some of the impactful campaigns we have been working on with and Professor Eleanor Stride.
Give Your F***y Five has, and continues to fly the f***y flag across billboards, digital, Spotify, print, and even hosted the first ever f***y takeover at University of Manchester. Working with established gynae health charity LADY GARDEN FOUNDATION] we have been on a mission to make checking your gynaecological health as memorable, accessible, and acceptable as possible. Because 21 people with fannies die of a gynaecological cancer every day and 57 are diagnosed – a number that could be greatly reduced if we all spent a little more time looking, touching, learning, hell, even smelling our f***y normal. To download The Va**na Dialogues – Your guide to giving it five – for free, head to LADY GARDEN FOUNDATION] website and sign up.
As part of our series, we caught up with Eleanor Stride to address conditions in ‘women’s health’, in particular urinary tract infections (UTIs), which disproportionally impact women around the world. While Professor Stride is clear on where these problems stem from in the healthcare industry, as well as their enormity, she is driven by her passion to increase understanding of women’s health generally, whilst also diversifying research to have a greater outcome for all. To read more about Professor Stride’s work and how working for greater diversity can benefit everyone head to Heath For All (link in our bio).
