I feel so emotional and so full of gratitude. Last night at The Fox & Firkin was immense , a packed dance floor, full of beautiful happy faces right until the lights came on at 4am!

I love doing nights like this where the music flows, and builds, and I think we can all agree, last night the DJ’s absolutely NAILED it!

I just want to give out a massive shout out to, firstly, my artists. Altern 8 , Phillip Hartnoll (Orbital), Uncle Dugs Simon Duggins, Chris Middleton MC Five Alive, I couldn’t be prouder of you guys, and I love you so much…. Extra shouts to Phil Hartnoll, who came out dressed as Altern 8 when Mark played Evapor 8 and completely surprised everyone! SO SUREAL!! (Will post videos up tomorrow!)

To all the the lighting/sound staff who worked so hard all night. To Sarah the Artists liaison, to Sam for allowing us to do a takeover, but finally to everyone who came out and raved with us till the very end!

Photo credit to Jo Swan - again, amazing shots!

THANK YOU!

If there’s one thing we love at NLA HQ, it’s looking at nostalgic items.

Our very own Sugar Bear sent this to me this week, and I couldn’t stop looking at it. I asked if I could share it with you, and here it is!

Take a look at the photos—zoom in to see the graffiti and the original paper where he wrote the rhymes for “Don’t Scandalize Mine.” We’ve also included his itineraries from his last UK tour in 1989.

Were you at any of his gigs during that tour?

30th March 1989 – Pink Toothbrush, Essex
5th April 1989 – The Ritzy, Norfolk
7th April 1989 -The Dolphin Centre, Romford
7th April 1989 - The Slammer, Kent

Sugar Bear is long overdue for a trip to the UK, so we are excited to announce that we are now taking bookings for 2027!

Interested? …. Now’s the time to drop us a message!
