When your washing machine won't drain and spin, as per your instruction manual ( if you have one), if you can't pull out and tip your machine backwards and use a bowl when opening the drain filter, use some towels to stop a flood. You may well have to reinsert the filter a few times and ring the towels. Check your filter after a cycle every 6 months. Ovens that have not been used for a good while may trip the electrics due to a little condensation (like mine today). Resetting the RCD and retrying a few times even over a few hours prior to Xmas may save a disaster on the day. Please I don't work on Xmas day. If this works for you kindly leave a nice Google feedback.
