Reuben’s Retreat is a friend of mines charity.. Nicola turned the worst possible tragedy into something inspirational to help families..
They are raising money to extend their beautiful retreat( Glossop) so they have room for families to stay.

I am inspired by Nicola and I have turned the tragic situation of losing my brother into something that can help others.

A Lego brick can be purchased and also dedicated in memory of someone.

I would love to dedicate a brick and call it

Well we have landed back home!

Last day wasn’t too bad.. rained a few times but overall weather was good!
Left a little something for our cleaner “Clash”
Drank cocktails, ate fish and chips and made use of the facilities til the end!

I’m a walking advert for Sculpt Active wear! If you haven’t tried it yet then it’s a must!!!!!

Got picked up this morning from the airport by Charlotte Hodson-Ridgway and Billy Edwards surprised us too!

Nice to be back!

Our last day/night in Barbados! 🇧🇧

Friday was a wash out! Rained all day! Still went to the beach!
Realised the mirrors over the bed were for swingers so you can see from every angle!!!! Saw crabs on rocks, swam in the really warm sea, paid $14 for 2 San Pelligrino!!!!!!! What a joke! However on our walk back we saw a turtle right next to a boat on the marina so saved ourselves $70 to go on a trip to see them!
Found Millie’s snack bar, then the highlight of the holiday doing sound healing in Barbados!!! 🤣🤣🤣 wasn’t quite in tune!

Got back to the ship and had a lovely night chatting to Natalie Hands in the onboard upgraded Wetherspoons! (Lives 10 mins round the corner from us and known her all my life)

Our last day sunbathing … we are on deck as we have been kicked out of the cabin!
Happy and sad to be heading home.

What a honeymoon!

Another day in Antigua before we set sail last night!
Woke up with The Iona by our side again! As well as the Cunard Queen Victoria!

Off to the beach grabbed a taxi with Captain Kirk, avoided Dickenson’s as too busy!
Went to Valley Church beach it was picturesque! Saw another rainbow 🌈 met some actual real life SWINGERS! They were funny but glad they were on the IONA!! Otherwise who would have known what could have happened! 😂

Met some people off our ship in Rum Runners bar ( from Nottingham) also the owner!

Had a couple of lethal cocktails! One called The Original Painkiller!! For a while I couldn’t feel my feet 😂

Managed to get back to the ship with minutes to spare, watched a great magician, had food, went to bed and caught the moon shining down on the sea!

What a great day yesterday was! Caught an early sunrise, got breakfast, jumped an early taxi at 8am, beach hopped around 4 beaches including Maho beach(where the planes come in) my Paul was in his element! Saw loads of Iguanas everywhere!!!! All that in just over 3 hrs!Met 3 Americans from different ships, think they were swingers.. glad we went our separate ways! Also met some more honeymooners.. they weren’t swingers!
Traffic was starting to get so bad and we headed back to the ship!

The sister ship the Iona was docked next to us in a rare visit together! That was some experience! Watched the other ships sail away too (Virgin and NCL) glad as that sent all the swingers with them!

Met a woman who was the spit of Kathy Bates and did a great expression of Molly Brown(Titanic)

A great day/night in St Maarten!

Just docked in Antigua for an overnight stay! Pics to follow….

Tortola… British Virgin Islands 🇻🇬 you did not disappoint!

Caught the sunrise again, a rainbow coming off the ship, found Smugglers Cove an absolutely stunning beach (the drive there was exciting)
Landed at Pat’s Bar(of course we did)
Encountered rain, a rainbow in the clouds, more rain and more rainbows, 🌈
Man in the mirror(of course Michael had to show up) can never do a holiday without him!
Then the drive back to the ship..

WE ARE LUCKY TO BE ALIVE! Driver who was about 85, took a wrong turn nearly went down the side of the mountain 3 times! My toes were curled in my flip flops!

Finally got back to the ship 🚢
got the sunset, watched a show, then a comedian then stayed out partying til gone midnight!!

BVI was certainly the most unforgettable day/night!

12 years together today… so much has happened over the past 12 years! Tears,tantrums, slamming doors, walking out and that’s just Paul 🤣.

Holidays, days out, days in, lockdown, becoming reiki masters, teaching reiki, 2 engagements (don’t ask) 2 cancelled weddings (again don’t ask) 🤣 best friends weddings, and finally our own magical wedding day, the list goes on! I would not change a single second of it!

We are stronger than ever, closer than ever and to finally be your wife means the world to me … love you to you know where and back Mr D’Bur … Mrs D’Bur!

I’m running a level one Usui Shiki Ryoho level one Saturday 21st & Sunday 22nd February.
This course is ran over 2 days.
Why?
To allow people to integrate the energy, to allow for the 4 attunements.
To allow people to absorb all the information given.

Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki Level One introduces the foundational principles and practices of Reiki healing.
Students learn the history of Reiki, receive their four attunements, and are taught how to channel universal life energy for self-healing and for treating others through gentle hand placements. Level One focuses on developing awareness, intention, and connection to energy, laying the groundwork for personal healing, balance, and spiritual growth.
