My earliest recollection of the spiritworld was from the age of 3 yrs.To me talking and communicating with spirit was a away of life,and a great comfort through a troubled childhood, which after the death of my Mother at the age of 5 , was very soon suppresse
d. The ‘Gift’ was present in both sides of my family , but never talked about apart from my Great grandmother ,who read tea leaves and sat for spirit behind the curtain as you say. Any discussions about these experiences were discouraged by my Grandparents who brought me up after my Mothers passing. Apart from visitations from my Mother, I learned to ignore it ,until the age of about 17 when the voices started again and it came back quite strong , this eventually led me to seek out the spiritualist churches. Once there i knew one day i would be working with my mediumship , but the time was not right for me in my life at that time. A medium serving there at the time told me to tell them respectively to leave me alone till i felt ready , Because when the time was right i would know and it would be my life from that day forward . Gordon Higginson was very wise with his words . About 27yrs ago i decided to visit Stansted Hall College for psychic studies. Glyn Edwards, who has now passed on himself, was a truly remarkable medium who himself was defined by Gordon Higginson. It is without doubt his teachings and help which developed my gift and made me the medium i am.He encouraged and pushed me and taught me respect for the other world. This led me to serve the Churches up and down the UK as an SNU Spiritualist Medium,and to work as a teacher myself in the UK and Europe,taking week long and weekend seminars. During these seminars i had the honour of working alongside some great mediums of today,including Glyn himself . I now read for and teach many nationalities as Glyn predicted i would,.I run courses on Mediumship development , Do past life regression,and healing ,Personally sit for trance and physical a passion of mine for my future.Next year i am also looking forward to Paranormal investigation work which will be exciting as I have had many phenominal experiences in my life. This is for a book one day.. I hope next year i will add some more . I recently was voted 3rd best UK Medium by New York Times. I Believe we are where we are meant to be on our journey , that the blueprint of your life is written before you arrive. You steer your own ship and can alter your own course, Boulders are thrown in along the way to learn from or get stuck behind, its our choice our life. I hope very much in the future people will come together more and realise we are not alone, our loved ones walk alongside us every day a breath away. My pet hate is fake fraudulent mediumship and Egotistic people .running before they can walk and trying to be the master of many things and not perfecting any one thing , TO ALWAYS HAVE RESPECT FOR THE OTHER WORLD . I teach my students on Evidence and fact and Personal responsibility to themselves and there Recipient. My hopes for the future are to remain true to myself and travel and spread my gift where it is needed most.
