Calculator at the ready people… this might change how you spend your time forever. ⏱️

If you have any kind of income goal in your business, you need to know your true hourly rate.

Not what you charge.

What your time is actually worth.

Here’s how to work it out:

1️⃣ How many weeks do you want to work this year?
52 minus holidays.
Maybe 6 weeks off ? = 46 working weeks.

2️⃣ How many hours per week do you want to work?
30 hours?

3️⃣ Multiply them together
46 × 30 = 1,380 hours per year

4️⃣ What’s your target income?
Example: £150,000

5️⃣ Divide income by hours
£150,000 ÷ 1,380 = £108 per hour
That’s the minimum value of your time.

Now ask yourself:
Would you pay someone £108/hour to do your inbox?
£108/hour to send invoices?
£108/hour to update spreadsheets?

Probably not.

But that’s exactly what you’re doing if you do it yourself.

Your hourly rate isn’t about pricing.
It’s about decision making.

So in true ‘business birthday style’…I’m sharing the 18 things that have actually helped me:

Audit your time for ONE full day.

Every 30 minutes.
Write down what you actually did.
No editing.
No pretending.

9 times out of 10 you’ll find you’re distracted with busy work:

-Inbox.
-WhatsApp.
-“Quick” calls.
-Admin dressed up as CEO work.

And once you see where your time really goes…
You can’t unsee it.

That’s why it’s a disruptor.
