Kelly (otherwise known as The Burnoutologist) is a seasoned TEDx and keynote speaker, coach and Burnout expert.

Hi 👋 I'm Kirsty L Baggs-Morgan and I founded Evolving HR in February 2024.

The mission of Evolving HR is to provide support, development and community to HR professionals (I've been one of these for 25 years), because we are often the last to get these things in our organisations and we don't always put ourselves first.

The Evolving HR app brings together over 120 (so far) businesses who provide one or all of the three elements above to the HR profession; so whether you need something to help you in your role of something for you as an individual, we've got you covered.

The app is completely FREE to use.

Some of the services our providers offer are coaching, development, HR qualifications, HR recruitment, employee engagement, wellbeing, menopause support, copywriting, HR communications, employment law advice, mentoring, online communities, networking groups, events, public speaking, outplacement, grievance and other investigations, mediation, you get the drift....

The app also includes a calendar of events that our providers are holding, many of which are free and a large number of our providers have also offered evergreen discounts and deals to app users. We also have partnerships with larger organisations to get you even more discounts on various services.

We are holding the first ever Evolving HR Conference in Manchester on November 26th at the Victoria Warehouse in Old Trafford.

The idea came about when I was at a conference in the US earlier this year and had to sit through two speeches where the speaker was basically just selling their book.

It's really frustrating to pay a lot of money to go to something and then get pitched to all day.

A lot of the HR conferences I've been two are run by companies who are trying to sell a product or are essentially just trade shows which, despite the free pens, are often pretty dull.

And in addition to that, the 'networking' elements of so many events I've been to are excruciating.

So I decided to create my own HR conference where there will be no sales from the stage and the speakers are simply there to inform, educate or entertain (and sometimes all three).

No forced fun, no making people sing or dance, you just spend the day in the way that's most comfortable for you. We even have a chill out area where people can escape to if they need a break from the large room environment.

I roped in Toby Kheng of Freeformers to organise this with me because although I had only met him in person once before, I just had a suspicion he'd be good at all the things I either know nothing about or don't want to do (AV, tech, being on stage all day).

We have a phenomenal line up of speakers, some of whom are travelling from overseas to be with us on the day and 3 of whom have done TEDx talks before!

We'd love for you to join us on 26th November; either in person or virtually. If you can't do that day at all, the virtual ticket will give you recordings of all of the talks, so you won't miss a thing.
