Louie’s stay so far. Few progress photos, lovely frame starting to show through now, a lot more forward into his work and quieter in his mouth. We had a few bit changes due to him having such a dainty mouth, and seeming a lot happier now in a small full cheek French link, Had my first little sit on him yesterday just riding round the farm getting a feel for each other, so can crack on with his ridden work now. 1000% I’ve done more work round that arena than he has this week, he’s definitely made me work for it. But I do love seeing the penny drop with these babies.

After making the move up to such a wonderful part of Cheshire to enable expansion and amalgamating the two businesses, to include setting up a run down farm and opening a livery yard to clients, reopening the doors for schooling, breaking and holiday liveries again was always a little daunting, new area, clients and travel from both parties, I must say I’m feeling incredibly lucky that my first two lovely clients through the door are both from back home and came from some wonderful recommendations from previous clients. I currently have two very smart horses in to work with and I’m looking forward to seeing them both progress under saddle here with me and also settling into ridden life back in their own homes 😁🦄

Just a few photos of Annie’s stay with me so far..
she’s making good progress, just changing the routine up a little this week for the heatwave, all the horses are in during the day for some respite from the heat and the flies, and will start working them in the evenings in the cooler weather where possible, as the horses comfort and welfare are made a priority.
Then a nice hose down and some downtime in the fields overnight while it’s cooler. 🦄🚿☀️🌾

Schooling field open all weekend, course hire or flatwork.
