It’s our one year anniversary!!

And what a wonderful year it has been! When I first decided to create this event I had an idea of what I wanted it to be.

Because I really didn’t like general networking events, I found them exhausting, competitive, and often fake. Everybody pretending everything is great.

I wanted a space where people could be honest about the tough parts of running a business. Where there was understanding, real conversations and practical support.

After putting some feelers out to various locations, I ended up having a fantastic conversation with Joni from the Business and IP Centre at Central Library, she was fully behind the idea and we made it happen!

One year on, nearly 200 attendees to our monthly in person event, it has been amazing, and I look forward to seeing what the next year holds.
