Let me properly introduce myself.
I am Carlos — behind the roaster, behind Indigo Coffee Project, and behind every single bag of beans you get.
I’m originally from Barquisimeto, Venezuela. When I moved to the UK, one of the first things I noticed was how big the coffee scene is here. I’d already worked as a barista, and I knew I could create something truly special — a product that could stand tall in this competitive market while also supporting small farmers at origin.
Coffee has always meant more to me than just a drink. It’s about the moments that come with it — the conversations, the connections, the memories it helps us create.
Great coffee has the power to mark moments in life: with loved ones, in places that matter, in times we’ll always remember.
That’s what Indigo is about.
A project born out of honesty, purpose, admiration and independence — values that guide everything I do.
The name Indigo was inspired by Canserbero, an artist I deeply admire, and the idea of striving to do things in the most meaningful and intentional way possible.
Every bag you see has been roasted by me, in Manchester, with full care for its origin and its journey. It’s more than just coffee — it’s my way of building something that reflects who I am, what I believe in, and what I want to contribute to this world.
And beyond coffee, I’m also chasing two other passions:
🏋️♂️ I coach people online to become stronger, healthier, and more confident
🎳 And I’m working hard to fund my bowling career, with hopes to compete internationally
Indigo is part of that dream — and every time you support it, you’re supporting me.
So if you’ve had a bag before: thank you.
And if you haven’t yet, now’s the perfect time to try it.
Let’s create something special — one cup at a time.
☕💙
