1st Line Epos Support

Overview

The Proposed role of the 1st Line Epos Support within DBE is a key role within a very customer focused organisation. The company is a busy, growing company and there is great scope for a person with the right attitude to develop for many years. Training will be given both in house and at clients sites, as well as with our key partners.

DBE provides a great environment to work in. Everybody is keen to assist each other, staff care about each other and the environment is rewarding, challenging and fun.

The role involves lots of contact with a variety of people in the hospitality & retail sectors, this could range from sales assistants, area managers of large multi site retailers also sole traders and as the face and voice of the company you will be required to act in a professional manner at all times. Previous experience on a Support Desk would be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering 1st line support calls from retailers
• Logging customer queries
• Keeping clients updated with where their issue is at
• Dealing with basic 1st line issues
• Escalating complex queries to 2nd Line Support
• Software upgrades
• Working closely with senior engineers both on and off site to develop a firm understanding of EPOS systems
• Providing 1st class customer service

Person Specification

• Must have a good. Confident telephone manor
• Good IT knowledge
• Want to develop in a growing company
• Work hard and go the extra mile when needed
• Work as part of a team

Would be useful but not essential

• Support Desk Experience
• Microsoft SQL Server Experience
