I have had a few customers asking why I’ve gone back to cash only. The reason is due to having to chase payments and the amount of none payments being made. It’s hard to keep track of so I have decided to go back to basics and it’s cash on pick up. 💕

Please book in asap if you need your dog grooming before I go away. I have the 28th august onwards. I go away the 9th of September. If you need booking in for when I get back please pre book as I will not be taking bookings while I’m away. Thank you

From next week I am closing the bank account which I use for bank transfers for the shop which means the shop will be going back to cash only.

When you’ve finished work and are waiting for the last customer to pick there dog up. A customer comes to the door asking for help as his dog had decided to run in something in the park. It was tar and he had it on his head, chin, back, underbelly bum and his feet to the point that his toes were stuck together.🙈.
In all of my grooming years I’ve never had a fur baby come in covered in this stuff and it was flipping sticky. Went and bought cooking oil and butter to break it down which the cooking oil worked. Had to soak him in the cooking oil for about an hour as it was so thick. Managed to get it out but unfortunately the tar had stained his fur as it stains and leaves an oily residue. Well it was a first for me and a bloody challenge but at least it’s all off him now.
