We signwrite a lot of vans here at Signs Express Stockport, so it’s always nice to work on something a little more upmarket! 😎

Today’s first job was adding stripes to this stunning Mustang — and what a way to start the day.

Simple, clean and really effective. We think it looks fantastic! 🏁

A big thank you to Tom and the team at Evans of Didsbury for asking Signs Express Stockport to update their signage in Didsbury. A new tray sign at the front of the building above the pavement and some vinyl on the windows at the side of the building greatly improving the visibility of this very busy fishmongers. Probably the best in Manchester.

A massive thank you to Amy and Warren at 🅲🅷🅴🆂🅷🅸🆁🅴 🅲🅰🆃 🅵🅻🅰🅿 🅵🅸🆃🆃🅴🆁🆂 for asking us to sign write their van. A striking design created by Amy herself.

When wrapping a van, preparation is everything.

We’re seeing more and more people using AI to create van wrap designs — and to be fair, the designs can look fantastic.

But there’s one thing AI often fails to recognise… the actual shape of the van.

A van isn’t a flat canvas. You have curves, panels, doors, handles, badges, windows, number plates, hinges and all sorts of obstacles that have to be taken into consideration.

Get the positioning wrong and lettering placed across a curve can quickly become distorted. What looks perfect on a computer screen may look very different once it’s applied to the vehicle.

That’s why good van wrapping starts long before the vinyl is printed.

At Signs Express Stockport, we consider the vehicle itself, the panel shapes and all those little details that make the difference between a design that simply looks good on screen and a wrap that looks fantastic on the road.

AI can create the design. Experience makes it work. 🚐
