Exciting news applications are out for our MACH CanSat team!!

This is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to get involved in satellite design for the first time. We encourage everyone interested to apply :)

A common question we get asked is: What's the difference between the MACH and AAS CanSat competitions?

The Mach22 competition is aimed at first years from all engineering courses, designing a small satellite in multiple fairly small groups. Whereas the AAS international competition is the next step up, with a single larger team working on a bigger satellite.

Want to become part of the team of UoM engineering students competing in an international satellite challenge?

Join us for the opportunity to be a part of an interdisciplinary team of students tasked with designing a rocket payload (CanSat) from scratch over the next year, and come to America with us to launch it!

Apart from being great fun and a massively rewarding experience, you'll learn invaluable skills about how an engineering team works in a real life application, plus this is a renowned competition and looks great on your CV!

The google form below has all the details of the different roles we're looking to fill, so feel free to have a read.

We're putting together a team and need a range of people from MACE, EEE, CS etc. so apply below to be a part of this exciting opportunity!
