Our first meeting is almost here!

After six months of sold-out taster sessions, hundreds of conversations, and so many women telling us this was exactly what they'd been missing, the founding Manchester chapter holds its very first meeting on 11th September.

It's the moment everything we've been building quietly becomes real!

Applications are still open if you want to be there from day one, as part of the founding group rather than joining once it's already established. (although of course you can join later, you might just get FOMO).

There’s a popular piece of advice that gets repeated in business circles: if you’re not at the table, pull up a chair. It’s well-intentioned, but it puts the burden entirely on you - to push your way in, to adapt, to make yourself fit a table that was never designed with you in mind.

We wanted something different for our community. Not a single seat squeezed in at someone else’s table, but an entire room built from the ground up around what Muslim women in business actually need: real accountability, real referrals, and people who understand both your ambition and your values without you having to explain either. We didn't want to build "better networking." We wanted to build something different altogether, a space made specifically for Muslim women in business, where you don't have to choose between your faith and your ambition, or shrink either one to be understood. Where business relationships goes beyond transactions into long lasting support.

This is one of the things that makes MWBN genuinely different: one seat per profession, where possible.

We believe wholeheartedly in community over competition, and this is how we put that belief into practice, not just say it.

It isn't about rivalry, or watching your back in the room. It's about something more generous: when there's only one of you, the whole community can advocate for you fully, instead of splitting its loyalty between several people doing the same thing.

That clarity changes everything. Referrals get made with full confidence, because there's no one else in the room to refer instead.

Conversations go deeper, because there's nothing to hold back or weigh up. And your visibility goes further, because you're remembered and recommended as the person for what you do, not one of a few.

Not every community is right for every woman, and that's exactly the point.

MWBN was built specifically for Muslim women who want more than a contact list, real community, genuine commitment, and accountability that actually follows through.

And to be clear, that includes you whether you run your own business or represent one; membership isn't only for founders.

What makes this community different goes deeper than format, too. It's belonging, a room where your faith and values aren't something to navigate around or leave at the door, but part of what holds the whole community together.

If you're ready to show up consistently, not just when it's convenient, and you're looking for people who'll genuinely hold you accountable rather than just inspire you for a day, you've found the right room.
