ADVENTURE⁣

I’m very grateful that I was able to spend the first 6 weeks of this year on my dream trip to climb Kilimanjaro, safari in Tanzania and then relax on the beautiful island of Zanzibar despite all that has been going on in the world over the last 18 months. It’s been a dream for at least 5yrs and I utilised the tools of Feng Shui to help make it a reality 🎉

I’ve been absent from posting on social media this year as it just hasn’t felt in alignment for me and I wanted to honour my energy around it. Tonight we welcome the final Full Moon of this year 🌕 ⁣
⁣
A Full Moon carries the energy of releasing and letting go, which after the challenges of this year and the upcoming year end is timely for releasing anything that you don’t want to take with you into 2021...⁣
⁣
A great way to do this is to write a list of all that you’d like to release right now under the power of this moon and then burn it (safely) or bury it in the earth to dissipate the energy. Be clear with your intentions to release. ⁣
⁣
The energy is at its strongest at the peak of the Moon but there is a window of 2/3 days either side of it whereby the energy is still heightened for this practise. ⁣
⁣
For me I’ll be practising this over the next few days as I begin an 8 day trek up Mount Kilimanjaro and will utilise the connection with nature to really tap into what it is from this year that I’d like to release!⁣

T H R O W B A C K...⁣

To this time last year when I was on a trip to China 🇨🇳 with my Feng Shui sisters. ⁣
⁣
We spent time immersing ourselves in the Feng Shui culture, training with Feng Shui masters and visiting some iconic sites such as the Great Wall (queue photo 3!)⁣
⁣
It was a great experience to understand how Feng Shui is an integral part of how Chinese people live, it isn’t something taught and implemented if they feel called to, it’s something they grow up with, a way of life. ⁣
⁣
Whole cities are designed on Feng Shui principles, Feng Shui masters brought in to consult on the design of huge skyscrapers and business premises so as not to adversely disrupt the energy of the area or business and even the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games followed the principles; with 8 being a very auspicious number, the games opened at 8pm on 08.08.08.....no coincidence!⁣

Feng Shui was actually banned from practise in China as the emperors wanted to keep all of the knowledge to themselves so as not to empower the people. It became an ‘underground’ practise in order to keep sharing and practising the ancient art and science amongst them. ⁣
⁣
Many masters have adapted the knowledge over time to suit Western behaviours and as such there is a lot of contradictory information available, particularly online, which can cause confusion. ⁣

We had an awesome week of energy work, with the land and ourselves whilst visiting sacred sites, during the epic heatwave we had that year!⁣

In Feng Shui there are three types of Chi:⁣

Heaven chi is the first force of nature. It’s the energy that spirals down from the sun, moon, planets and stars. Consider the power of the sun for our planet and you’ll get an idea of the influence of this energy on us 🔥 ⁣

Heaven chi is associated with time ⏰ seasonal change comes as a result of celestial activity. The time at which your home was constructed is an essential piece of information used in calculating the energy footprint of your home 🏡 ⁣
⁣
Human chi 💁🏼‍♀️ is the energy we’re born with, think of this as your astrology ♈️ ⁣
⁣
Earth chi 🌍 is the energy of our planet and it’s surroundings such as mountains, waterways and deserts all of which make up and contribute to the energy around us and it’s impact. Feng Shui deals with and transforms earth chi⁣

Each of these are an essential component of how we function and what energy we are subjected to. If you choose to, you can influence and transform your earth chi to ensure it’s working in your favour and not putting invisible blocks in your way⁣

When we choose to consciously align the energy of our environment to support us in life, life flows smoother, we feel better, new opportunities show up and even things like:⁣

A lot of the time we don’t even know that the energy of our environment isn’t supporting us because we can’t see us and there’s no internal alarm warning ⚠️ shouting that something needs to change but you may notice:⁣
