Most people are aware of CAD and know it is about drawings in a digital format, but most are not aware of how much impact it has in our lives and also what a great selling tool it is or how much you can save by utilising its features. Taking a physical component and converting it into a detailed 3D model that can be rotated 360° or be seen from different perspectives e.g. above, below, from behind, without risking damage to the real thing (try turning a car upside down to check how the suspension works or looking at the location of metal screws in a 500 ft Access Platform on the side of a Refinery!)
