Most people believe they would know how to handle themselves in an Emergency, they believe they would know what to do if their loved one was choking or collapsed in front of them suffering a seizure, heart attack or if they stopped breathing. Our aim is to make you familiar with all you need to know to ensure you can keep that person alive until Emergency Services arrive to take over

from your care. Our first aid sessions are run by a registered operational Paramedic with teaching qualifications and many years of mentoring experience, who started his career entertaining crowds across the country as a host and compare at many high profile events. The sessions are designed to be entertaining, but give you the skills you need to perform life saving techniques on your work colleagues or even your family members. You won’t leave our sessions feeling like you have been bored with Power point, but with a renewed self confidence in your ability to perform life changing techniques, taught in a unique way. Learn the skills someone who has been through these situations, dealing with life threatening Emergencies as an experienced Paramedic, they can tell you what to do, but more importantly, why you must do it. We are happy to tailor any course to your needs, working with groups as small as 3 to as large as 12. Our certificates are recognised by OffQual, as we work in conjunction with ITC, Immediate Temporary Care, who monitor our standards and ensure we are giving the best, most up to date information. We follow guidelines set by the HSE regulations 1981 and OFSTED and offer courses to suit your needs, with prices that you just won’t get from larger training centers. Health And Safety

More often than not, one mention of Health and Safety and you can see peoples’ eyes rolling. Health and Safety is an ever changing world which more recently has been somewhat demonised.. However, your health and safety responsibilities and requirements aren't rocket science, are not a burden on your business or organisation, as you may have been led to believe, and more importantly needn't be all the hard work that it is made to appear. Here at 'Familiar FAST' we have professionals, with many years of experience, who can give you the tools to enable you to stay ahead of the game, making changes as needed, as laws change. The way in which we present our courses is innovative and informative. We can give you the skills to be able to easily assess your own environment for hazards and risk. In your workplace we can walk you through your own risk assessments, policies and procedures and simplify your methodology, enabling you to fulfill your legal obligations to ensure you and your colleagues are as safe and healthy as possible.
