Post-training diner done for my meat eaters Athletes (Dad went to the gym and the girls did their evening 2h swim session each):
My simplified version of Beef Massaman (Flavoured with Massaman paste, ginger chicken stock and tamarind) finished with black beans in their own juice.
Saskia ate first, gave her only a small portion of the beef on the side as she was certain it would taste 'disgusting' ... now she wants a second serving ! 😂😂😂 🙏💪😎

Finally, a mum's message to her daughter for today:
Stay on a high positive vibes and energy all day
Be grateful and excited about every little things that happens
Find good things in everything even mishaps.
Remember everything little & big things you have achieved up to now and be grateful & energised by them.
Visualise each race with perfect starts, perfect speed, perfect finish and as if you are winning them.
Be thankful & loving towards the water that is going to boost your speed for each of your race and push you forward when your legs/arms are burning.
Thank each part of your body that is individually working at its best to help you win each race.
Good luck today my darling and enjoy! 😘😘😘

Messaging my husband this morning to give food preparation reminders:
Has The Restaurant Chef prepared a packed lunch?
Don't forget the same vitamins this morning for breakfast as last night at diner.
Food preparation for today:
- 1 packet of blueberries and raspberries slip in 3 in the 2-compartments Tupperware (1 for each session)
- 3 protein shake preprepared Soya milk and powder portion at bottom of bottle (1 for each session)
- 1 pot of hummus for each session: 1 session with long veggies crackers, 1 with half packet of sweet potatoes crackers and 1 with pretzels
- 1 or 2 fruit pots and/or smoothies per session
- 3 bananas for the day
- half of tangerines packet for the day
- 1 Biomega, 1 Proflavanol & 1 Coquinone at the end of each session
- depending on pack lunch ... 1 or 2 preprepared chicken sandwich (sorry I left the green salad bag in the fridge yesterday)
- 3 bottles of fresh water
