WHAT DOES YOUR WEDDING HAIR BOOKING FEE ACTUALLY COVER? ✨

i don't do a 'deposit' i have come up with an idea for a booking fee instead, it's stops people booking me with no intention of using me and it pays for any extra time and services i may need to do before the day and on the day,

When you pay your booking fee to Carly’s Wedding Hair, you’re securing your date with me. That means I turn away other enquiries for that date, including potentially larger bridal parties or weddings that might be more convenient for me logistically. Once your date is booked, my commitment is to you.

But there’s more to it than that!

💍 You’re booking me for your wedding morning, not just your hairstyling.

I know that wedding mornings don’t always go exactly to plan, and sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.

Need help getting into your dress? I’m there. as long as all the hair is done ,

A bridesmaid struggling with her shoes, stockings or suspenders? I’ll help if I can!

Need bouquets sorted, buttonholes pinned, cravats straightened or car bows attached? If I can lend a hand, I will!

A last-minute wobble, a little panic, or an extra pair of hands needed? I’m there to help wherever I reasonably can.

your hair is my number one priority however, over the years, I’ve found myself doing all sorts of little jobs that have absolutely nothing to do with hair, but everything to do with helping your morning run smoothly. ❤️

I want you to feel that you have someone reliable by your side who genuinely cares about how your morning goes.

Your booking fee secures the date, my time and my commitment to your wedding. It allows me to plan around your special day and reserve that time exclusively for you.

Don't worry I won't come in and take over ,
i've done many many weddings where literally everything is under control and sorted by the ultimate bridesmaid or a very organised bride has had a spreadsheet for toilet breaks and everyone knows what they need to do and when or they have a Wedding planner to hand doing things for them so when i'm not needed i'll stick to being your hairstylist only.

people wonder why wedding hair costs more than a normal hair appointment.
I completely understand the question., ' just because it's a wedding people put their prices up '

But when you book me for your wedding, you’re not just booking me to do your hair.

You’re booking me , my experience my skill and everything that comes with having me there on one of the biggest days of your life. ❤️

Over the years, I’ve found myself doing SO much more than hair! you wouldn't believe some of the things i've done that is all part of the service .

👗 Helping bridesmaids into theirs
👠 Fixing shoes that are too tight
🧦 Helping with stockings and suspenders
🎀 Putting bows on wedding cars
🌸 Making last-minute buttonholes
🤵‍♂️ Getting the boys’ cravats looking right
💐 Making bridesmaids’ bouquets
🎀 Helping with fascinators and accessories
🥂 Opening ch*****ne — because we’re NOT ruining those freshly done nails! 😂
📸 Taking photographs and creating little bits of content for my brides
👶 Keeping an eye on children when needed
🤝 Stepping in to help other members of the bridal party, even when they haven’t booked me
📋 Creating and helping organise timelines
💒 Liaising with wedding planners and other suppliers
⏰ Keeping an eye on timings so everyone knows where they need to be

And sometimes…

I’m the person fixing the tiny disaster nobody else knows how to fix.

A missing button.

A shoe emergency.

Someone who’s suddenly panicking.

A lost phone

A bridesmaid who doesn’t know how to put something on.

That’s why I don’t see myself as just a wedding hairdresser.

I’m part hair stylist, part organiser, part problem solver, part photographer, part dress assistant, part therapist ,part calm head…

…and frequentlt part children’s entertainer! 😂

I bring my experience of years of working in weddings with me, and I genuinely care about making the whole morning run as smoothly as possible.

So when you see the price of wedding hair, you’re not simply paying for the time the curling wand is switched on.

You’re paying for the preparation, experience, equipment, time, flexibility, responsibility and support that comes with having me there.

Your wedding morning is precious.

And my job is to make sure you can enjoy it. ❤️
