Employee of the Month – September

Congratulations, Sam!

We are delighted to announce Sam as our Employee of the Month for September!

Sam is a long-standing and valued member of the CTcare team, bringing with her a wealth of experience, knowledge and understanding that she puts into practice every single day. Her dedication to her role and the people she supports is evident in the quality of her work, and she continues to demonstrate what it truly means to be an outstanding carer.

Sam is always willing to help out wherever she can and go that extra mile for both her colleagues and our service users. She is someone the team can depend on, and her willingness to step up when needed is a testament to her commitment and professionalism.

One of the clearest examples of Sam’s abilities is the care she provides to one of our most complex service users. This is not a role that someone new to care could simply step into and master overnight. It requires experience, patience, understanding, confidence and an exceptional level of consistency. Sam brings all these qualities to her work, demonstrating day after day that she has the skills and dedication needed to provide excellent care in challenging circumstances.

Where pressure might cause others to struggle, Sam continues to rise to the challenge. She shows that even when the demands of the role are high, experience, resilience and a genuine commitment to care can make all the difference. Her ability to remain dependable and maintain high standards, even when faced with difficult situations, speaks volumes about her capabilities as both a carer and a person.

Sam’s experience is invaluable to CTcare, but it is her attitude, reliability and dedication that make her such a special member of the team. She represents the kind of carer we are proud to have supporting our service users, and the kind of colleague every care team needs.

This award is long overdue, and we could not be prouder to recognise Sam for everything she brings to CTcare. Sometimes, the people who consistently do the most are the ones who simply get on with the job without expecting recognition, which makes it all the more important to take a moment to celebrate them.

Employee of the Month – August
Congratulations, Precious!

We are delighted to announce Precious as our Employee of the Month for August!

Precious has been a fantastic addition to the CTcare team, particularly within our Corby and Kettering areas. From the very beginning, she has shown an excellent attitude towards her work and has consistently demonstrated what it means to be a dedicated and professional carer.

Precious has been outstanding in every aspect of her role, passing every spot check with flying colours and consistently meeting the high standards we expect from our care team. Her attention to detail and commitment to doing things properly have been clear from the very start.

Most importantly, our service users regularly compliment Precious on the care and support she provides. She approaches every visit with kindness, patience and professionalism, ensuring that the people she supports receive the high-quality care they deserve.

Her commitment doesn't stop once the care has been provided. Precious also produces excellent paperwork and detailed care notes, ensuring that important information is recorded clearly and accurately. This helps the office and families stay informed and ensures continuity of care for our service users.

Precious also brings a happy, positive and unshakable personality to her work. She is a genuine joy to work with and has quickly become someone the team can rely on. Her positive attitude, professionalism and willingness to provide the best possible care make a real difference to both our service users and the wider CTcare team.

Precious, your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed. You have shown from day one that you are a caring, reliable and highly capable carer, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the CTcare family.

Chris Doughty - funeral details.

Following the recent passing of Christopher ‘Chris’ Doughty, we wanted to share the details of his funeral service for those in the local community who knew Chris and may wish to attend.

Chris, of Market Harborough, passed away on 15th August 2026, aged 71. He was a well-known local character and a friend to many, and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.

In Memory of Chris

As many of you are aware, CT Care has had the privilege of supporting Chris in our community for over 13 years.

Over the last months of Chris’s life, our care team supported him throughout his appointments and ensured that we continued to advocate for him and seek the very best for his care and wellbeing.

Sadly, Chris has now passed away. He was a truly wonderful character, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing and supporting him.

We are aware that many people in the community have been asking about Chris’s funeral arrangements. We want to reassure everyone that CT Care is supporting and working alongside those involved to help ensure arrangements are made as per Chris's wishes.

We kindly ask everyone to be patient and understanding, as given the circumstances, the arrangements may take a little longer than usual.

As soon as the funeral date, time and other details have been finalised, we will share the information with the community so that those who wish to pay their respects have the opportunity to do so.

Thank you all for your understanding, kindness and support during this difficult time.

Congratulations, Carly!

We are delighted to announce Carly as our Employee of the Month for July!

Carly consistently goes above and beyond in her role, and this is reflected in the wonderful compliments and positive feedback she receives from our service users and their families. The more service users Carly meets, the more positive feedback we receive about the excellent care and support she provides.

Carly is a fantastic communicator who responds quickly to updates and emails and keeps the office fully informed with clear, detailed information. Her communication helps ensure that the office has everything it needs to provide the best possible support to our service users and care team.

She consistently provides an excellent quality of care and takes the time to complete detailed, meaningful care notes, giving families valuable insight into how their loved ones are doing. This extra attention and commitment are greatly appreciated.

Carly is also extremely reliable and dependable. She has consistently demonstrated a fantastic commitment to her work and is always someone the team can rely on. She is a true model carer who maintains a consistently high standard of care.

A great example of Carly's flexibility and willingness to go the extra mile was when she recently picked up work in Market Harborough, an area that was unfamiliar to her, supporting service users she had never met before. Despite this, Carly embraced the opportunity, built excellent relationships with the individuals she supported, and received fantastic feedback from them.

Carly, your dedication, reliability, communication and commitment to providing exceptional care do not go unnoticed. You are a credit to the care team, and we are incredibly proud to have you as part of our team.

Employee of the Month

Oh my would you look at the time we are already into August and haven't said who the Employee of the month was for June, well let me congratulate Kehinde for the month of June.

Since joining CTcare, Kenny has come on leaps and bounds, showing incredible dedication to both our company and the people we support. Her commitment to providing the highest quality care is clear to see, and she continues to grow in confidence and develop her skills with every passing day.

Kenny is always willing to go the extra mile, regularly stepping in to help the team and picking up additional work without hesitation. Her reliability, positive attitude, and willingness to support others make her an invaluable member of the CTcare family. We would genuinely struggle without her.

Kenny has become a real asset, not only to our Northampton team but also to our colleagues and clients across Leicestershire. Her compassion, professionalism, and determination to provide outstanding care have made a lasting impression, and we know she will continue to thrive and make a positive difference in our communities.

💙☕ THANK YOU, MARKET HARBOROUGH! ☕💙

On the 27th May, CT Care proudly hosted our Time for a Cuppa fundraiser at Market Harborough Market in support of Dementia UK and what an incredible day it was!

Our original goal was to raise £300, which amazingly was surpassed before the event had even started thanks to sponsored walks completed by our wonderful care staff and generous community donations 💙

Thanks to everyone involved, the fundraising continued throughout the day with:

We are proud to recognise Oluwabusola (Busola) as our Employee of the Month!

Busola’s caring nature, dedication, and positive attitude shine through in everything she does. Week after week, we receive lovely calls from service users wanting to share their appreciation for the support and kindness she provides, which speaks volumes about the impact she has in the community.

She leads by example and sets a wonderful standard within the team through her professionalism, compassion, and willingness to always give her best. No matter how busy the day may be, Busola approaches her work with a smile and brings warmth and reassurance to both clients and colleagues alike.

Busola is truly a pleasure to work with, and we wanted to take this opportunity to recognise and thank her for the incredible work she continues to do for the company and our service users.

Join us at Market Harborough Market tomorrow from 9am–12pm for our Time for a Cuppa fundraiser in support of Dementia UK

Hosted by CT Care (Sharon Bindley: Registered Manager), we’ll be raising money to support families affected by dementia and we’d love to see as many people there as possible!
