Blackfryers Planning, Environmental and Transport Consultancy is still operating through the virus crisis: we've always worked from home to keep costs low for clients. Although there are occasional distractions from children and guinea pigs all services are available.
We are always at the end of a telephone, email or video (including Skype, Zoom and WhatsApp).

Just finished a nesting bird survey for a large house builder in Abergele. It's an offence to disturb nesting birds, so we surveyed the area and once the all-clear was given, the arb team was able to get in and clear the site so that construction could carry on. We can do all kinds of surveying including phase I habitat surveys and BS5837 tree surveys too - contact us for a quote. The Pyramidal Orchid below was growing next to the survey site. Lovely!

Another success - we wrote the Transport Statement for a Golf Course in St Helens to help them gain planning consent for a practice pitch, pond and bunding to improve the course.

Last week I helped some Cheshire residents object to a wedding venue that would create large amounts of traffic on Cheshire lanes. Applicant supplied almost no info on effect on some lovely listed buildings. No decision yet, but it is looking good.
