ng class at High Peak College in Buxton. From 1995 - 1997 she studied a GNVQ (Adv) in Art & Design at Chesterfield College. From 1997 – 2000 she attended and graduated from the University of Derby

Autumn has been terrific for opportunities to exhibit my handbuilt ceramic vessels and sculptural forms. I'm delighted that on Saturday my work will be part of at Old Lock Up Gallery in Cromford. Exhibition runs until 21 December 2025, it would be lovely to see you there!

On Sunday 26 October the exhibition Prayers for Peace opens at the lovely Water Street Gallery in Todmorden. I'm fortunate to have a piece for the wall accepted on the theme of Order and Harmony. Laser etched numbers are overlaid with Porcelain shapes to suggest positioning of seeds in a Sunflower head - expressed by numbers, evidenced in Nature, the fabulous Fibonacci sequence.

Back home from Departures exhibition in the Ceremony Space at Natural Endings, Funeral Director, Todmorden. Memories of Newgrange was one of my new hand built ceramic funerary urns on display, inspired by carvings on the entrance stone of Newgrange, a passage grave in Ireland.

I feel privileged to have my bespoke ceramic funerary urns accepted for this exhibition alongside other talented artists. The exhibition is on 11 & 12 October from 10-4 with an Opening on Friday 10th from 6-9. There will be music by Soma and a Fiery Farewell from Pushing Up Daisies.

Gathering vessels and tiles for my display at the Women Who Make festival at Masson Mill in Cromford on Saturday 04 October from 10-4.00pm. Thought I would accentuate the Autumn theme by taking along some of my individually handmade tiles of various sizes. Useful for around the home or as small pieces of artwork.
