It’s that time of year again when our fruits trees like to produce so much fruit I question what on earth can I make other than chutney or crumble?! Apple trees not so successful this year which is a shame, but, ideas anyone? What can I make and preserve with all this lovely fruit? Recipes or suggestions welcome 🍐

When Tylan has a birthing on one of the hottest days! Buttercream does not like heat! Hope he had the best birthday.
Last bake for me for a while as I’m having a well deserved break to catch up on sleep and actually have time to eat some food! Never get chance to do much these days as there is always something going on so family time is now a must. Happy holidays people! Maria Pope

So yesterday, on the hottest day of the year my eldest baby turned 12! How did that happen? The heat was against me and the buttercream was just melting in front of my eyes, so we opted for a plain vanilla cake this year with handmade topper from , nothing fancy but obviously kept in the fridge! Best day had with her friends and a spot of shopping!
