After over 20 years working in care I came to the realisation that there is a gap in the industry for somebody to offer in home 1-1 support. Not medical based care but companionship - somebody to have a chat and a cuppa then maybe help with a few chores. Over the years I have been an OFSTEAD registered child minder, worked in respite services for disabled children, in care homes and nursing homes

and more recently as a carer out in the community - which has lead me to the realisation that so many people's lives could be much improved with a little more support. Services Offered
(£15 ph at home, £20 ph away from home, charged in half hour blocks)

> In Home Visits - a chat and a cuppa, helping with a bit of of light house work, putting dinner on, basic internet support. Some company & human interaction.

> Shopping - Taking client to the shops or picking up shopping for the client.

> Medical appointment - accompanying clients to doctors or medical appointments.
