🎭 Melton Theatre is at risk — and our community needs to act.
When Melton Theatre first opened, it was a joint venture between the college and the community — a shared commitment to creativity, opportunity, and local pride. For years, it’s been a space where stories come alive, confidence grows, and people connect.
Now, Loughborough College Group is consulting on the future of the theatre, the college site, and Melton Library.
Closure is a real possibility — but so is community-led change.
Theatre isn’t a luxury. It’s a lifeline. It supports mental health, builds friendships, nurtures talent, and creates belonging. Losing this space would mean losing opportunities, memories, and a vital part of Melton’s cultural heartbeat.
