Regular customer and talented Menston musician Jon Palmer popped by this morning to pick up his A4 printed leaflets which are promoting his new SOLO album.

Our designer Justin did all the photography and art work for this CD and is a big fan of the Jon Palmer Acoustic Band.

'All the Day Long Day' is released on all the major streaming platforms on 20th November!

You can pre-order a CD off Jon for just £10 from www.jonpalmeracousticband.com

We had Mick from Shed Load Of Vinyl in this morning.

He was still buzzing after having comedian Stewart Lee digging through his record crates at the weekend.

Anyway, he needed some last minute posters and flyers printing for a very exciting promotion for Apollo Junction’s homecoming gig at the Brudenell Social Club this Saturday.

Unfortunately we can’t talk about it, but AJ fans are going to 100% love it!

Great to see Nick from Toy Art UK this morning who needed some A3 posters printing for

This year’s event takes place at Leeds Marriott on Saturday 24th October.

International (and local) artist Drew Millward has original screen prints to sell on the day of this wonderful poster artwork.

It’s a great event… there’s so much on display to tempt you, and before you know it, you’ll be walking away with a piece of art you never even knew you needed!

Not something we'd personally be up for doing, but we always enjoy designing and printing the programme for today's 3 Peaks Cyclo-Cross event.

This was an interesting project we produced for The Linking Network just before the schools broke up for the Summer holidays.

27,000 double sided A4 leaflets for the new school year.

1,000 of these were folded into a 16 page booklet, to be handed out to teachers, to show the children how to fold them.

We also produced 26,000 laminated stickers and a 1,000 gloss laminated folders.

This week we’ve had the pleasure of 17 year old Henry (from Prince Henry’s Grammar School) join us for five days of work experience.

Henry has been learning what it takes to run a small, independent printers and has spent the last few days in the finishing department working on brochures and orders of service.

Today we took him down Bleach Mill Lane and gave him a photography lesson in how to shoot using his camera's manual mode and getting his head around the exposure triangle.

On our walk we shot landscapes, wildlife and a few people who were up for a portrait.

An hour later, we were editing and printing out Henry’s fabulous photos onto A3 posters.

Tomorrow we are going to take some of Henry’s photos of Whitby and Bolton Abbey and turn them into A5 greetings cards, which he will print, guillotine and crease.

Well done Henry!

Wishing Tom the happiest of birthdays – 80 today!

Yesterday we celebrated with a breakfast at Bettys.

Tom saved a sausage for his best pal Goose who wolfed the treat down in one!
