Most business owners can identify what needs doing next week.
Far fewer have the time to consider what could affect the business over the next two years.
When you're busy serving clients, managing people, solving issues and keeping everything moving, it's easy to assume that hard work alone will drive growth.
But what if the real challenge lies elsewhere?
A few questions worth considering:
• Where is the business becoming more vulnerable than it was two years ago?
• Has your market changed faster than your positioning?
• Are competitors becoming more visible, trusted or memorable?
• Are you measuring activity or commercial effectiveness?
• What assumptions are you still operating under that may no longer be true?
• If growth has slowed, do you know why?
These are not operational questions.
They are strategic questions.
