We’re starting something new at J&J! 👋

Every Monday we’ll be sharing a quick update from the garage — what’s new, useful motoring advice, seasonal reminders, new services, booking updates and the occasional special offer.

Basically, all the useful stuff… without bombarding you with messages every five minutes. 😂

This week at J&J…

🔧 We now have THREE working ramps!
This isn't just about fitting more cars into the workshop. It means we can manage jobs much more efficiently when something unexpected crops up.

If a job turns out to be bigger than anticipated, a part arrives incorrectly, or a vehicle has to remain on a ramp while we wait for something, it no longer has to create the same knock-on effect across the rest of the diary.

We’ve also dedicated one ramp specifically to servicing, helping us keep routine work moving and get your vehicles back on the road as efficiently as possible.

❄️ Thinking ahead to winter…
Don't wait for the first freezing morning to discover your car isn't quite as winter-ready as you are! 😂 If your service is approaching, get booked in early. Our services include a FREE Vehicle Health Check, giving us a chance to spot developing problems before the colder weather arrives.

Do I own any Scamp and Dude? No.
Am I incredibly passionate about your business succeeding through connections, learning and sheer drive for women like me to reach their goals? Abso-bloody-lutley.

And that’s why I’ve created Inspirher Tydfil. Because once we are in that room, once we start silencing the noise, I know we can smash some ceilings.

I’ve set myself a target to sell the last ten tickets by September 1st.

Just a few more of the phenomenal female founders and some women in business that will be attending our pioneering networking event happening at on September 28th.
Have you got your ticket yet? There’s already some connections and conversations happening in the WhatsApp group, which has made my feet dance!
Opportunity and Energy seems to be the line I’m using to describe what I’m trying to achieve at these events.
Also, there’s room for everyone! (Well, technically only 13 more seats at the table left for this one!) If you see someone who’s doing what you’re doing don’t let it put you off! *insert Brick Lane analogy - you know? All those curry houses on one road and they all do just fine!

Just some of the fabulous businesses and women in business who’ll be joining us at the first networking event at the whole event is being sponsored by and we’ve got the phenomenal speaking.
There are only 13 tickets left for what’s set to be an inspiring, uplifting and opportunity making evening.
The agenda has networking, a mini workshop and Clair on the bill along with an infamous Clwb Crown pizza and glass of fizz or non alcoholic alternative.
I’m hell bent on creating a community and space where women in the valleys are heard, seen, supported and championed but I need women in the room to do this. So, if you haven’t got your ticket yet please do so.

InspirHer Tydfil is a brand new networking event for female founders and women in business.
Each month will have a theme, a phenomenal speaker, a mini workshop - packed full of value and lots of networking opportunities.
We know Merthyr is filled with absolute power houses and it would be great to get everyone in same the room.

InspirHer is built on integrity, values and a wholesomeness that aims to celebrate, support and empower female founders and women in business in and around Merthyr Tydfil. Basically we are bringing the energy and opportunities.

Septembers theme is Grounded and the Wonderful Clair, whose business Upwrite Ltd is built on having an authentic voice, will be telling us all about finding her voice and knowing who she is in her business.

(We will open the session with speed intros.
Then hear from our speaker.
During a pizza break we will network and then finish with a mini workshop.)

Sound the klaxon! More than half of the tickets have gone! (There’s only 15 left!)
I’m going to guarantee you a few things if you come to this event, 1. I’ll bring the energy, you just have to show up. 2. I’ll create the opportunities, you just have to show up! 3. You may come on your own but you’ll leave feeling part of a community. 4. Like someone’s already said, worst case scenario you get a slice of pizza if nothing else. 5. So, we are a go. Female founders or women in business in Merthyr, I’d love to see you at Clwb Crown for the first InspirHer event on September 28th at 6pm.

If you didn’t get the memo I’ve created a networking event called Inspi-Her Tydfil that will run alongside wonderful women. This will be a networking event for female founders and business owners in and around the valleys. I’m really passionate about us being connected having support and a heap more inspiration on our doorstep.
The events will run to a loose agenda that looks like this;
Introductions, a speaker, networking opportunity and everyth a mini workshop.
Each month will have a dedicated theme, so for example September‘s theme is ‘Grounded,’ and will centre around Knowing who you are before you grow, values and confidence. You know, the nitty gritty we sometimes neglect when we are in the trenches of the day to day stuff?
So, if you’re a female founder or woman in business that wants to join the community, I’ll pop the WhatsApp link in the comments.
