A week on, and we’re still feeling the Community Day Buzz💙

Last week was a first for the ELITE team as we joined colleagues across Fedcap for Community Day.

Our team got out and about, rolled up their sleeves, and spent the day giving back to their local community.

And, judging by these photos, there were plenty of smiles along the way! 📸

We’re so glad to be involved in such a brilliant day and are already looking forward to the next one.

Last week, we got to be a part of something huge! 💙

For the first time, we were able to join in with 520 Fedcap colleagues across four countries and three continents, who came together to support the local communities they work in.

From supporting people experiencing homelessness, building homes, supporting veterans and caring for community gardens, our people gave their time to support local organisations.

Across the UK, Canada, the US and for the first time Australia, our teams gave around 2,700 hours of their time across 52 organisations, making this our biggest and most global Community Day yet.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave their time and helped make the day such a success!

With Easter around the corner, please see our closing dates over the period.

This week we’re saying a fond farewell to our founder and chief executive, Andrea Wayman, who is retiring after 30 years of supporting disabled people into paid employment in Wales.

Andrea has been instrumental in helping more than 20,000 disabled people and individuals with barriers to work to access and sustain meaningful employment.
We’ll miss having Andrea as part of the team, but hope she has a well-earned rest!

Diolch yn fawr iawn Andrea!
