- Women in the Workplace -

In line with yesterday’s International Women’s Day RTS would like to introduce our new HSEQ Representative Lauren.

Lauren comes from a military background and given us an insight into her previous career...

‘’ I recently completed 12 and a half years’ service as a Sergeant within the Royal Military Police and more recently as a HR specialist, until I left service in February this year. I decided to leave the forces after having my daughter Myla, so I could settle back home in the Northeast.

Throughout my military career, I have worked all over the world on exercises and operations completing an array of tasks, gaining invaluable experience along the way.

Utilising my resettlement funding, I completed several NEBOSH Health and Safety Qualifications, in the hope to start a new and exciting career within the Health and Safety sector.

I have been lucky enough to start a position within RTS Wind UK as the HSEQ representative, allowing me to put my learning and skills to practice, both on and offshore.

I’m looking forward to gaining new experiences and progressing my career within the wind industry. The opportunities RTS Wind UK will provide me with are incomparable. ‘’

Lauren is going to be a great asset to the RTS Team! 😊
