Duties

We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our busy team at our depot in Darlington. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation to customer sites, ensuring timely deliveries are made whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.

£14.00 to £16.50 per hour
Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays available if required.

Responsibilities for HGV 2 driver

Operate a HGV Class 2 Tipper safely and efficiently..
Ensure the accurate loading, unloading, and delivery in line with customer requirements.
Perform pre-vehicle and post-vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs and documentation for each day.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel regarding time schedules.
Adhere to all road transport regulations and company health & safety procedures.
Requirements for HGV 2 driver

HGV 2 licence. (Essential)
Valid CPC Card. (Essential)
Valid Driver Card. (Essential)
Previous experience driving Tipper trucks is highly desirable but not essential, as training will be given.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to communicate professionally to internal and external clients.
