Much is made in the press and online by big businesses to promote their environmental credentials. As a small business we do what we can in the day-to-day running of the practice; recycling where possible being one easy step we can and do make every single day.
As clients who have visited us recently will be aware, we have recently invested in solar panels for energy production.
Although this is a significant initial investment, we hope to be able to produce around 70% of the electricity we use. It will also help in these uncertain times, minimising the effect of power cuts and outages.
Days like today show what can be achieved. The screen shot below is the current status:
Producing 15.8Kw
Using just 1.69Kw
Exporting 14.11Kw to the grid for others to use.
