With the introduction of the new 2026 B2 with it's updated CD mechanism, we can now offer to upgrade your older B2 to the same spec.
The B2 was discontinued because replacement CD slot drives are no longer manufactured and this particular CD drive proved to be a weak point on the original B2, prompting it's withdrawal from the market. The new slim CD drawer mechanism fitted to the new 2026 B2 model is freely available. With just a small design change to the faceplate it made it possible to reintroduce the B2 to the marketplace. I have the parts in stock and in collaboration with Brennan, I can offer to retrofit the new parts to your B2.
