♻️ Recycling in action!

Here we have a mixed load of soil, stone and green waste that’s been coming into our yard over the last few weeks, now being processed through our trommel.

This little beauty helps us separate the different materials so they can be sorted and disposed of correctly.

The recovered soil will then head over to our sister company, Smith Aggregates, where it will be screened once more to produce a higher-quality topsoil, ready to be delivered to customers across Milton Keynes and Bedford.

100% recycled material, giving waste a new lease of life!

Thank you, Jesse, for the great feedback 😊 It really is appreciated!

It’s always nice to receive good feedback or a positive review.

We often take it for granted that when we pay for a service, the service should be good and, of course, that’s what we expect.

But how often do we actually take a minute to let a company know when they’ve done a great job?

We’re all pretty quick to speak up when something goes wrong. We want answers, refunds, our money back… and that’s understandable.

But when someone provides a great service, goes the extra mile, or simply gets things right, it’s just as important to let them know.

A few kind words, a good review or a quick message can make a huge difference. It’s a small thing to do, but it can mean a lot to the people behind the service.

So, thank you again, Jesse. 🙏
Your feedback genuinely means a lot to us! 😊

Pink Punters has now started its journey on the road to becoming the No.1 nightclub in town once again! 💖

We’ve been asked to supply the skips to remove the waste being produced as the burnt-out building is cleared and prepared for whatever comes next for the site.

Fingers crossed they can build something even bigger and better for the people of MK.

Important Update Following Fire at Smith Recycling

Following the fire at our Bleak Hall yard in the early hours of yesterday morning, we’re pleased to confirm that we are now back open.
Thankfully, no one was on site at the time and there were no injuries. We’d like to thank the emergency services for their swift response and hard work.
We are currently operating at a reduced capacity while we assess the damage and work to get things back to normal. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
We’d also like to thank our customers, neighbours and the local community for their support.
We’ll keep you updated as we make progress.

Late yesterday afternoon, our team was dispatched to Newport Pagnell High Street for an urgent Wait & Load. A vehicle had struck a shopfront, leaving debris scattered across the pavement. We jumped into action to get there quickly and safely. 🚛💨 😮‍💨

A huge thank you to everyone who took part in the Smith Skips Top Bins Competition at the Newport Pagnell Carnival this weekend!

The weather was on our side, bringing plenty of people along to have a go and be in with a chance of winning the £50 prize for getting the most balls to stay in the skip.

It was a fantastic turnout, and together we raised an amazing £224 for Willen Hospice. We'd also like to say a big thank you to Newport Pagnell Town Football Club for their support in helping make the day such a success.

Congratulations to Shayne, who was our overall winner with an impressive 7 balls staying in the skip! Well done!

Thank you again to everyone who came along, took part, and supported such a great cause.

A few pictures from Olney Rugby Club, where we delivered some skips to help manage the waste generated during their 7s Tournament this weekend. 🏉♻️

We hope everyone has a fantastic weekend, and we're pleased to be supporting the club in keeping the site clean and tidy throughout the event.

Today we are celebrating another long time carnival partner Smith Recycling 🎉

Carnival weekend creates a lot of rubbish! As well as people eating food and having drinks over the two days, there's an awful lot of commercial waste too.

Our food vendors, the bar and even stall holders create a large amount of waste, so local business, Smith Recycling, help us by collecting all that waste into large skips, ready for processing at their plant in Milton Keynes.

We're also pleased to confirm that they will be back this year, in partnership with Newport Pagnell Town Football Club, raising money for Willen Hospice Milton Keynes. Keep your eyes peeled for the Top Bins game, shoot your shot and be a cash winner! 💰
