The latest figures from Defra show that 1.26 million fly-tipping incidents were recorded across England in 2024/25, that's around 3,450 incidents every single day.

Fly-tipping isn't just an eyesore. It can become a serious headache for landowners, businesses and local communities.

More than 52,000 incidents were the equivalent of a tipper-lorry load or larger, with the clearance of these larger incidents costing local authorities £19.3 million during the year.

We have a new team member! Meet Alfie Hammond, who recently joined the Creative Waste Solutions Ltd team as an Operations Executive!

Since joining CWS, Alfie has settled in brilliantly and has already become a valued member of the team. His positive attitude, willingness to get stuck in and great work ethic have made him a fantastic fit from day one.

When he's not helping keep things running smoothly behind the scenes, you'll probably find him:

⛳ On the fairways at Silverstone Golf Club
⚽ Playing football during the week (and cheering on Manchester United!)
🏃 Training for his sixth half marathon, which he'll be taking on in London this September

While he's not exactly new anymore, we thought it was about time we put a face to the friendly voice on the other end of the phone 🤙🏻
