About a week ago I launched a website selling various things for getting studio quality guitar tones at home. Some of these products I’ve been chipping away at since the beginning of the pandemic so it feels amazing to have them for sale finally.
There’s Direct Kemper Profile packs, Line 6 Helix presets (dialled in to match the tone of my amplifiers - check the videos for how close they get), and cabinet IR packs (all speakers from each cab captured across the width of the speaker at various positions with several mics through a high end analogue chain).
The IR’s will play nicely with whatever gear you’re using them with - be it real amps and load boxes, modelling devices, plugins. I really obsessed over capturing these IR’s in an accurate way, always A/Bing to micing the cabs up normally and comparing how they sound with different gear. It was a deep rabbit hole to go down, but I honestly don’t know of any IR’s out there that match the sound quality and ability to move microphones as you would in the studio like these do.

All presets from Mirror Profiles are made by dialling in great tones on real amplifiers, and carefully A/Bing with the corresponding or most appropriate models in Helix. We never use match EQ, convolution tricks, or additional processing to match tones. Like Kemper Profiles for Line 6 Helix
