The company was formed to deliver outsourced motorsport management to its manufacturer clients. Initially, it ran the Volkswagen Racing programme (Volkswagen AG originally foun
ded the company in 1997 before selling it to owner Sam Roach in 2001). Fifteen years later, and the company still operates the UK's most successful manufacturer-backed racing Championship, the Volkswagen Racing Cup. Alongside, it proudly manages and promotes the UK's FIA Formula 4 concept, the F4 British Championship.This is a high-profile single-seater racing championship widely regarded as the starting point for any driver aiming for Formula One. Alongside the motorsport activity at the heart of the original company, expansion into delivering corporate events to our automotive clients soon followed with the formation of RacingLine Events Limited. From there a network of support services to enable the team to fully deliver these events from in-house resource was added. Today, the wholly-owned subsidiary RacingLine Events delivers hundreds of high quality corporate events each year for its manufacturer clients; these range from vehicle launches, to incentive travel, to specialist driving events, to meetings and conferences. Meanwhile, and most recently, RacingLine Performance Ltd has been added to the Group. RacingLine Performance develops, markets and distributes a range of performance and motorsport automotive upgrade parts, borne out the team's extensive motorsport experience. With an in-house engineering team, this range is today sold in every major market in the world, with global sales growing each year. RacingLine is today based in Blakelands, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom and continue to develop new clients and new programmes each year.
