Todays little task, PART 1
Its 08:30. I’ve managed to beat the traffic and get here on time. Its not a big job but, lets get this kitchen ceiling back looking nice for the customers 😃👍

Another Artex ceiling skimmed, along with the walls down to the picture rail.

The Artex was nice and solid, with no loose areas or flaking paint, so it was suitable to go straight over.

I always check them properly first though and if there’s any doubt at all, they get overboarded instead.

IT NEARLY DIDN’T HAPPEN

These two artex ceilings were supposed to be done on Wednesday, but after getting stuck abroad they had to wait until today.

Thankfully I always seem to get really good customers, and Freddie was no different. He was completely understanding, had both rooms ready for me and I was there on time as always.

Both ceilings over skimmed nice and flat, no scraping the artex off, just properly checked for suitability then prepared and skimmed.

Not how I planned on spending my Sunday 😂 but good to get them done and keep my word.

No mess, no fuss 👍

So, the airport is open again. although there are still a few delays and schedule changes after the volcano eruption.

Can still see Etna in the distance, pumping out smoke and doing its thing….

Flights rebooked for tomorrow so,I guess until we’re safely back on UK soil… this is what I’m just going to have to put up with. 😎☀️🇮🇹
