We're officially a B Corp 🎉
We're so proud to share that Celtic Financial Planning has achieved B Corporation certification, and we're believed to be the first Chartered financial planning firm in Wales to do so.
Our impact score was 90.8, which honestly exceeded our expectations. We only started the process in October 2025, so to reach this point so quickly has been a real team effort.
But more than the score, this certification reflects the values we've tried to build the business around from day one. It's recognition that we're on the right track.
Here's what matters most to us:
🌳 Being carbon positive and having planted 2,385 native trees with North Wales Wildlife Trust since 2019
👥 A four-day week with no reduction in pay, because we believe in balance
🤝 Supporting local charities, community groups and grassroots sport
💚 Talking to every client about ESG and ethical investment options
None of this would be possible without our brilliant team, our supportive clients, and the guidance of Laura Hothersall at Truth, who made the whole process so smooth.
This isn't a finish line - it's a foundation. We're already looking at ways to do more, including exploring a community woodland to support local schools and charities.
