This week we mark 13 years in business - it's true what they say...how quickly time flies.

I started my business on the Wirral with two very young children in tow—one and three years old, after being made redundant from my corporate job during maternity leave when my second baby was just five weeks old.

I decided that if I didn’t start a business then, I never would! During my leave, I wrote my business plan, attended courses in Liverpool to support me in getting started, and off I went!

From no clients to building a diverse client base across arts, financial, sports, marketing, engineering, retail and hospitality sectors, including corporate clients, it’s been full of highs, learning, and growth.

We’ve grown our team, moved our base to North Wales, developed client teams through leadership training and team-building, dealt with many projects and complex issues, and welcomed two office dogs, Bonnie and Bea!

I’ve loved watching Chelsea flourish in her full-time role. We’re also celebrating longer-term contracts with several of our clients recently, which is fantastic to have that loyalty and consistency.

I’m proud of what we’ve achieved and grateful to everyone who’s been part of it. Clients and members of APS team, past and present.
