I have developed a new obsession! Listening to birds! There is a fab app called Merlin, which is free to download. I’ve been sitting in the garden and recording the birds. Look at all this wildlife!
Each recording was 5 minutes long and while there are some duplicates, there are some differences in the identifications just 5 mins apart. What birds have you got in your gardens?

Its National Doberman day today. We sadly had to say goodbye to my amazing dobe Syd 5 mnths ago. He was a typical dobe in so many ways
🐇 Velcro dog (was a mumma’s boy)
🐇 loved his Teddies
🐇 protective & strong
🐇 loved cuddles as much as walks
Dobermans are my favourite breed ever! What is yours are why? Extra points for photos of your dogs!

Just casually spending my day with some of the most beautiful but deadly animals …… fab day at the day job with Liverpool school of Tropical Medicine. After an am of amazing talks we went behinds the scenes! Can you identify any of the species?!

One for the Animal researchers!
Sadie here ....... As you may, or may not know, I am studying towards a doctorate exploring the use of Animal interventions in schools in Wales. I am seeking a reviewer as part of my scoping study! What you will need;
- At least a BSc in a animal field
- A love of reading!
- A killer eye for detail
- Ability to follow a check list
- Some time to dedicate on an adlib basis over the next few months
What will you get out of it? Apart from my sincere gratitude! If the paper goes to publish, a small mention, and a cheese hamper! As who does not love cheese?!
