Another wee job complete.

Customer wanted a panel fence put up to help keep out the abundance of leaves outside her property.

3x3 posts finished with 19 x150 panels.

In addition to the fence we used off-cuts to put up each side of the path to keep the gravel in and off the path.

Wee job completed last week

Customer wanted a low maintenance garden area and still be able to keep all their plant pots and hanging baskets and make it better for their pet dog to use his little ramp to go out and enjoy the space.

Old slabs, chuckies and bricks were lifted.
Old membrane taken away then ground was levelled,
A base layer of sharp sand put down and finished in 2x2 standard grey slabs.

Driveway extension complete.

This time our customer wanted their existing driveway extended to allow their vehicles safe from having to park on the street

Ground was excavated to a suitable depth to lay a strong bed if type 1 hardcore ( done in two layers and wacker plated after each one) followed by a bed of sharp sand on top for the blocks to sit on

Drive way was done using belvedere mono-block and kiln dried sand to finish.

Another wee job complete

Customer wanted an old wire fence replaced with a new picket fence to keep their chickens in.
Fence was built using 100mm wide sawn treated fence boards and finished in dark oak.

In addition we built them a wooden planter for their residents to plant flowers in.

Both residents and staff at Real Life Options are happy with their new fence in their fairy garden.

Job completed!!!

Today seen the completion of an office garden area for our customer in Fettercairn.

The office itself was installed by Keith of Total Building Solutions.

The ground was levelled and slabbed for the office to sit securely on.

The beautiful bellstone storm porcelain slabs were were a great choice by the customer giving a wonderful contrast from the office building to the artificial grass.

Job complete today.

This time the customer wanted a new 6' x 5' fence put up and border filled with standard 20mm gravel leaving a 3m x 3m area at the right of the gate entrance to be filled with the remaining gravel.

To begin with rose bushes and rhubarb plant were carefully removed from down the side of the existing fence and replanted in a new flower bed created at the bottom of the grass.

To finish off we made a wee addition to the original workscope using spare fence panels and posts to create a border to prevent the gravel coming over onto the footpath or the flower bed.

Garden makeover complete.

Customer initially wanted chuckies taken away and slabs laid for her to be able to get her mobility scooter into a shed without difficulty.
Neighbour asked that we take out the 40yr old hedge and put up a new fence which worked better both of us.

After removing nearly 9 ton of soil and years upon years of chuckies ground was level enough to lay the slabs, customer also requested we put a bed of her own chuckies round the slabbed area.

New shed was built for her and to finish off we built her a special corner for her beloved car to sleep.

2nd side of the garden was slabbed with 3x2" slabs and old fence ripped out and replaced with new.

Another job carried out this week. Customer wanted their grass cut and edging done, excessive growth of w**ds removed from their walls and staircase then holy tree taken back and growth from fence removed.

Wall was treated with a w**d killer to prevent further growth and in addition neighbouring gutter was cleared out whilst the w**ds and miss on top of the wall was removed to finish it off.

Many thanks to the customer for their patience in completion due to weather conditions.

Well today saw the finish of a job that was a bit stop start, a job to be carried out when we had a bit of time to do so and we are very grateful to our customers that understood how busy we were and were to have it done as and when. Not a big job, but one we only managed to get an hour at one day then another hour the next.

Our customer wanted an extension to the existing slabs on their patio. Chris done a great job cutting the slabs to match the edge of the outside bar. (8pm finish after an early start on another job)

Today Marc went back and finished off the remaining slabs and one half cut and also adding a slabbed area for the bins to sit on.

Although we are extremely busy at the moment we will do our very best to fit in as much as we can.

Wee job done today.
Removed all overgrown bushes, removed dead roots and tidied up ground work and left in a state to grow back in good time.
