Another excellent BNI meeting this morning, with our 10 minute presentation coming from Robert of R F Slight Joinery Ltd.

Robert took us through some fantastic examples of his work across Edinburgh and East Lothian. From doors, staircases and window frames to some seriously impressive bespoke architectural joinery.

Seeing the finished projects really brought to life the level of craftsmanship, skill and attention to detail that goes into Robert’s work.

It’s exactly why our 10 minute presentations are so valuable. The better we understand what our fellow members do, and the quality of work they deliver, the easier it is to spot opportunities and confidently recommend them to others.

Another fantastic morning at BNI, with plenty of quality conversations, referrals and opportunities to help one another grow our businesses.

A huge thank you to Jeanette from Mould Away UK for delivering an excellent 10-minute presentation, giving members a real insight into the importance of identifying and dealing with mould issues professionally. It was a well-deserved double celebration too, as Jeanette was also voted our Notable Networker this week. Congratulations! 👏

We also enjoyed a thought-provoking Education Slot from Steven McDonald, who shared some great advice on the importance of building genuine relationships. In BNI, strong relationships are at the heart of great referrals, and Steven’s message was a timely reminder of why we invest in getting to know one another.

Another fantastic meeting for the chapter this morning, with plenty of energy, great conversations and valuable business passed between members.

A special welcome to our newest member, Chris, who joins us as a professional photographer. We’re delighted to have him on board and look forward to supporting his business growth through the chapter.

Members were also treated to an entertaining World Cup-themed presentation from Graham Hutchison of RE/MAX, which certainly brought a bit of fun and friendly competition to the morning while highlighting the importance of referrals and teamwork.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful meeting. Here’s to another productive week of building relationships, supporting local businesses and helping one another grow.
