🕊️ Another balcony cleaned up and pigeon-proofed! 🧹

This balcony had been left with a build-up of pigeon droppings, so we got it cleaned up and fitted netting to the steel beams to prevent pigeons from roosting there and causing further mess.

✅ Pigeon droppings removed
✅ Netting installed to steel beams
✅ Helping prevent future roosting and mess

A cleaner, more hygienic space and a long-term solution to the problem! 💪

At Fur & Feather Pest & Bird Control, we provide professional bird-proofing solutions across Bristol and North Somerset.

🐀 Rats burrowing under the block paving!

This one was in a bin area, where a rotten fence post had given the rats the perfect opportunity to burrow underneath the block paving. 🐀

Bin areas can be a hotspot for rat activity, especially when there’s an easy food source and somewhere sheltered to nest.

The key is identifying where they’re getting in and tackling the root cause, rather than just treating the symptoms.

Another day, another rat job! 💪

😂🐀 Pest control plot twist of the day!

When the plumber uses a Bournville cocoa tub to prop up the pipes… and accidentally sets up an all-you-can-eat buffet for the rats! 🤣

Free accommodation, heating and a food supply — no wonder they’ve moved in! 🐀🍫

Another day in pest control! 💪

Sometimes, weekend access is the only option! 🐭

This morning we’ve started a new mouse treatment across 14 flats, working around residents’ availability to make sure every property can be properly inspected and treated.

We understand pest control doesn’t always fit neatly into Monday–Friday, so where weekend access is needed, we’ll do our best to accommodate.

AVONMOUTH PROJECT COMPLETE! 🐦✅

After a lot of hard work, long days and a few challenges along the way, we’ve finally completed this 4,700m² bird netting project in Avonmouth! 💪

Just a few figures to show the scale of this one:

1,600m of steel wire
20,000 hog rings
4,700m² of bird netting

That’s a LOT of wire, rings and netting! 😅

A big thank you to the team for working so hard and seeing this project through to completion. It’s been a challenging one at times, but the finished result makes it all worthwhile. 👏

🕊️ Avonmouth Bird Netting Project Update!

It’s been a bit of a stop-start one, but we’re finally in full swing! 💪🔥

Unfortunately, we’ve been pulled off the job a few times while roofing snagging works were completed before we could safely get on with the netting.

But we’re back at it now and the whole thing is really starting to come together! 👌

This is a 4,700 m² commercial bird netting installation, so there’s certainly been plenty to keep us busy! 🐦🏭

We’re hoping to have it all wrapped up by end of play Monday 🤞

Big thanks to pestfixuk for supplying the materials for this project.

More photos and video of the finished installation coming soon! 👀
