A bit of an unusual framing job this one 🎀

We made this octagonal frame from scratch to display these ribbons from a wedding. With all the different shapes, colours and handwritten messages, getting everything positioned nicely was a bit of a challenge, but we’re really pleased with how it came together.

This beautiful piece by belongs to Liz Oswald MacKinnon’s collection. We chose a steamed beech frame and added a few coats of wood oil to bring out the natural grain and detail of the wood. Its warm tones work really nicely with all the greens in the landscape.
