At Right at Home South Cheshire we aim to make a genuine difference to the quality of life of those we serve in the local community. We focus on improving the lives of those we care for, not just maintaining quality of life. We firmly believe that to provide an excellent service, you need time. That's why we have a preferred minimum visit time of 1 Hour, enabling both our CareGivers and Clients to

have a positive experience that allows not only time for support to be provided where it is needed, but also to have a conversation and allow for social interaction. This is where we believe we can truly "make a difference every day" to the lives of our Clients. We provide extensive and comprehensive training and ensure that personalities are well suited to those of the Client. We will provide a consistency of CareGivers and will never send a CareGiver who has not previously been introduced to the Client.

Our most reliable member of the teamā€¦ always at the office whenever you need him, quite literally. (He can't move)

From training sessions to team meetings, Bob is always ready to lend a hand, he might not say much, but heā€™s certainly seen a lot! šŸ‘€

In all seriousness, having the right training equipment, like Bob, allows us to incorporate practical, hands-on learning into our training sessions. This gives our Care Professionals the opportunity to practise and develop their skills in a safe and supportive environment before applying them in real-life situations.

Keep an eye out for Bob around the officeā€¦ he has a habit of getting himself into some interesting situations!

For Right at Home South Cheshire, ours begins with one very special person.

Our Managing Directorā€™s passion for home care was shaped by his Grandad, who sadly passed away in 2014 after living with dementia and Alzheimerā€™s disease for almost 10 years.

His experience of seeing the impact that dementia can have on individuals and families helped shape the values behind Right at Home South Cheshire, providing high-quality, compassionate care that enables people to remain independent, comfortable and supported in their own homes.

Today, 10 years later, that same motivation continues to influence everything we do. Because behind every client we support is a person with their own story, their own family and the things that matter most to them.

Following our recent āœØ OUTSTANDING āœØ internal audit our Registered Manager, Tina, wants to pass on a message:

I am extremely proud to be part of such an amazing team. Although I have only been with the company for 14 months, I have witnessed an incredible transformation during that time.

As a team, we have worked together to restructure and review every area where improvements were needed, taking on board valuable feedback from both our clients and staff. What makes me most proud is the way everyone embraced change, worked together, and remained committed to achieving the very best outcomes.

The result of that hard work and dedication is reflected in our outstanding internal audit. This is a fantastic achievement and a true testament to the commitment, teamwork and determination of everyone within the organisation.

I couldnā€™t be prouder of what we have achieved together, and I am excited to see what we can accomplish as a team moving forward.

Meet the lovely ladies behind the Alsager Memory Cafe!šŸ«¶

The group meet every last Friday of the month, 11am - 12:45pm at Alsager Library. They offer a safe space by all affected by dementia, whether it be someone living with dementia, their family members or friends, the cafe is welcome to all.

Kath, who is head of Alsager Dementia Friendly, and the other brilliant volunteers, work hard to provide the cafe, and we here at Right at Home really admire the work they do.
