Looking forward to providing for a glitzy Gatsby-themed ball in support of Alpha Omega WPS Foundation on Friday night. It takes place against the magnificent backdrop of Crewe Hall and although it's a 'work gig' for me, this architectural never fails to deliver the WOW factor as you approach down the long drive.

Good to support Motherwell Community - where Women and Girls Matter in promoting this important campaign - incredible in this day and age such taboos still exist and worse still, some women and girls can't afford hygiene products. Often I'm asked to prepare a one-off news release - such as this one which made the BBC this morning 🏋‍♂️ Bodybuilder Tim Rosiek clinches world title. Was it a story, YES!! especially after trying for 20 years 🏆 The media love a quirky story - especially in all the noise of the General Election - and here's a perfect illustration of the timing being just right. Well done Tim 🏆

Personal trainer Tim Rosiek has previously been runner-up in the competition on four occasions.

My first day as a cub reporter I was told to 'warm up my fingers' writing the wedding & WI reports - and to look for a good story such as the wheelchair-bound bride taken to church on a tractor. Decades on, I still love digging out a human interest story, like this one: Leighton Hospital worker to take part in Strictly-style dance competition 😀
