I intend to launch a new business from June as a freelance will writer, amongst other legal services. Using media technology it will not be necessary for my clients to take time off work to give instructions or to execute wills. I will be including services such as administering estates and applications for Lasting Powers of Attorney. These confidential legal services will be at sensible, affordable prices. I will be drafting simple wills initially for a cost of £50.00 or £90.00 for a couple. This introductory price surpasses many legal providers pricing structure. You may think that you need to have significant wealth or be elderly to have a will. This is not necessarily so. Young couples with children may want to think about appointing guardians rather than leaving it to a court to make the decision. Unmarried couples who own property together may want to make arrangements for their share of the property rather than their partner being left nothing. I can store your executed wills free of charge. I can assist with estate administration by gathering in the assets,
paying debts, preparing the necessary tax forms in anticpation of oath for executors and distributing the estate to the beneficiaries. This would be considerably cheaper than a high street solicitor who charge by the hour, per letter and telephone call. They also will charge a percentage of the final estate amount. I can help as much or as little as the Executors feel necessary. If you need to take over a relatives finances or make decisions about their personal welfare, it will be necessary to obtain a power of attorney from the Office of Public Guardian.
