Hello! This isn’t a particularly Instagrammable picture, and it isn’t quite the update I wanted to be giving a couple of weeks after our lovely show 🙄 Lots of my follow-up plans are on hold as my much-planned house sale fell through, so I’ve not been able to unpack and spread out as much as I need to. I alsohave to keep everything boxed up and tidy to try and re-sell my house (I’m not sure a fabric storeroom in the spare bedroom would necessarily inspire offers 😂).

I’m back from a brief hiatus reorganising everything and have lots to share with you, including a bit of seasonal fabric and lots of lovely crafty things I’ve been up to, so I’ll start with that over the next couple of weeks whilst I cross everything and pray to the house sale gods! 🤞

The start of the day and the end of the day!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who came to browse, chat, buy and wish us well yesterday The Alresford Agricultural Show. It was lovely to meet so many people.

A lot of you asked about our next steps, which I’m working hard on (or I will be after I’ve spent today putting my feet up with some Pimms!) 🍓🍊🥒🍋

I’d also like to heartily recommend Mud Foods pies which were the perfect end to a long day!

I'm very excited to bring you our first piece of news. We will officially be re-launching at The Alresford Agricultural Show! I always love this event and I'm thrilled to have secured a space.

Please come and visit us at Pitch G27. We are next to the cricket ground, just round the corner from the pigs!

Hello 😊 It’s been a while hasn’t it? I’m very excited to say that Stitchen Valley Craft is operating again!

I’ve got lots of news to come (keep your eyes peeled tomorrow 👀) but I thought I’d get things moving again by saying hello, and sharing some of the crafty things I’ve been up to in my absence.

I’m so sorry to say that we won’t be able to remain in our first home Fowler&Smith Ltd and will be moving this weekend. I have absolutely loved our time there and am very sad to be moving on. I am also so pleased that I got to hear about some of the other traders Vintage Doca, The Oakwoor Hare and, of course, 32 Broad Street

But now for the GOOD NEWS!

I have some options for other locations in mind and will let you know as soon as I finalise anything.

I am probably going to have the summer off to spend some time with family (as there is much fun to be had - see second picture!)

I am going to use the time to set up my online store, which is very much needed but has been a bit of a challenge whilst running a physical shop as well. We also still have lots of stock so if you are in need of something specific, do get in touch to see if we can help.

I am also finalising some courses based around crafting for sustainability, including sashiko and ways to upcycle jeans and other denim items. I’m hoping to look for people to trial the courses for me in September!

I’ll be continuing to learn lampshade making with Jennifer Fraser Lampshades. I am so enjoying the process and it is a great way to use smaller pieces of fabric.

I’ll still be posting on here as I will have some items to sell as part of a stock refresh, and will have lots to say about sustainable crafting and textiles.

We have officially been open for a year! 🙌🏻🎉🥳🎊 We love our home in Fowler&Smith Ltd and are thrilled to have reached this milestone.
